We can solve all our problems by finding and addressing the root cause

Question from the Internet:

“I don’t see how it is realistically possible to solve poverty and climate change at the same time, since the methods of achieving these goals contradict one another. What are your thoughts?”

We can solve different problems at the same time usually when they originate from the same root cause. Then by treating the root cause — instead of trying to treat the symptoms — the symptoms will also disappear.

Our present inability to cope with the threatening climate disaster, remaining poverty, inequality in society, and most other problems that plague us right now, they are all symptoms of the same disease, coming from the same root cause.

They are all caused by our inherently self-serving, egocentric, individualistic nature which drives us towards excessive overconsumption, ruthless competition, to succeed at each other’s expense.

This is why we can’t cooperate and find true, effective solutions for global problems (since we all distrust each other and want others to have problems worse than us), this is why although we have more than enough food it is accumulated, distributed in an unequal way (and more than 3rd of food produced end up as waste, this is why societies are breaking apart and nations are constantly preparing for war.

And this actually makes our work very simple.

The moment we recognize the root cause and find the proper, purposeful and practical educational method that can help us interconnect, exist and cooperate mutually together above and against our instinctive egos, with one stroke we solve all of problems!
