We are finding ourselves in global interdependence

Question from the Internet:

“Why do you agree or disagree that modern technology is creating a single world culture?”

To such questions, I always try to point out that we have the “cause and effect” chain wrong.

It is not technology that is creating a single world culture, but it is the single world culture, our inevitably globally integrated state that creates a technology that reflects this.

We have evolved into a globally integrated and fully interdependent world as a result of Nature’s evolution pressuring us into it. Nature is a single fully interconnected system, operated, governed by a single field of forces, laws, developing according to a single evolutionary plan.

Thus Humanity inevitably has to conform, adapt to this Natural system if we want to survive evolution.

At this stage we acknowledge the global integration, the “single world culture”, but we still want to use it, exploit to our subjective, egocentric gain, benefit. This is why we are rapidly sinking into an ever-worsening, unsolvable global crisis, falling into a 3rd World War which has already started in effect and can turn into actual nuclear mayhem any moment.

So we will need to figure out how we need to change ourselves, the way we relate to each other in order to adapt to the obligatory Natural, evolutionary conditions we exist in. In that we can use the help of our advanced virtual technology that can help us interconnect, communicate, cooperate “above and independent of time, space and physical movement”.
