We are born egocentric, subjective

Question from the Internet:

Why do people lean toward subjectivity and completely deny objectivity when things that are objective have been proven?

Actually, we do not have a choice.

Our inherent perception of reality, consciousness is totally egocentric and subjective. We see a reality that is heavily filtered, distorted by our introverted, selfish “pleasure/pain” calculations and in essence, we could say that the reality we see, we sense is a projection from within.

This is how we are programmed.

Thus even our “facts”, “proof” are also subjective, we are simply incapable of objective research, conclusions. Those who work in sciences, read, write into “peer review” scientific journals know that on the same pages, in the same meeting two absolute opposites can be proven, cleverly manipulated, presented with statistical tools.

If we want objective proof, if we want to see the world as it is, first we would need to learn how to acquire a completely selfless, objective viewpoint, “taking ourselves completely out” of the picture.
