Using the “time-out” effectively

Some people are questioning the wisdom of opening up the economy when almost all experts predict a possibly worse second wave of the virus infection that will force lockdown and quarantine again.

So far all through the pandemic, we have seen only ad hoc, uncoordinated, mostly illogical responses, actions, each individual and national government acting according to their own gut instincts.

The virus — in a “merciful” way considering the overall loss of lives and no loss of physical assets — showed us who we really are: little children playing with their toys, feeling invincible and omnipotent until “Mother Nature” moves a finger and we all poop into our pants.

When we face the true forces of Nature — we have no idea about — all our technology and made-up, theoretical sciences, expertise means nothing. And we have no idea about Nature’s true forces because we are completely incompatible with the Natural system, acting against its “iron laws” that sustain the balance and homeostasis life and optimal development depends on.

We still want to save our “toys”, the economy and financial system which would have collapsed even without the virus, but probably together with wars and revolutions or as a result of much greater Natural catastrophes — all caused by our false, artificial Human bubble.

The virus gave us “time-off” to grow up and collectively decide to adjust, rebuild the global socio-economic system — but this time according to Nature’s perfect template instead of our illusory, selfish, exploitative ideas, plans.

The clock is ticking and time is running out to use the “time-out” effectively. The ball is in our hands right now, but nor for long…
