Unity is the basis for Israel’s successful future

An article in The Jerusalem Post:

My comment:

I know that the article attempts to look at the “wiser picture” from a geopolitical viewpoint. Still, any issue we are discussing in and around Israel needs a solid basis.

And this basis is the continuing unity and mutual guarantee of the Jewish Nation, including most of Diaspora Jewry.

Whatever Israel wants will be taken seriously and will be listened to only if it comes from a “single source.”

If our “enemies or allies” can drive a wedge between us and play with us, catering to the different aspirations and inclinations among us, we will be weakened and harmed again.

If Israel and world Jewry can keep the unity we achieved during this war, even when the usual bickering and “itch” to return to infighting and succeeding at each other’s expense reawakens, if we actively search and make efforts to make the bonds and mutually complementing cooperation between us balance and neutralize our differences and animosity, then whatever we decide and want will be successful.

Jewish unity that is achieved above and against the instinctively selfish, subjective, and egotistic human nature has a special quality. It can draw and gather special, seemingly incomprehensible forces from nature that would facilitate and assist everything we do.

This is based on nature’s laws and on the unique method that our predecessors developed for millennia from generation to generation.
