Turning from the symptoms to the true disease

Some fear that social unrest can cause a crash in the economy, while others claim it is the economic crash that is causing social unrest.

Usually social unrest and crash are superficial symptoms of a society, a civilization that is collapsing. In a robust, lively, positively progressing society we do not have either.

Our proud, narcissistic, self-serving, egocentric civilization is on its way out. Thus we will go through all the usual symptoms from economic, financial collapse, social unrest due to absurd inequality, artificially generated racism, growing unemployment and hopelessness, we will inch ever closer to wars until we will have another world war as the only “historic solution” for such scenarios.

Of course we could stop the blind, instinctive vicious cycles if we started taking our development consciously into our own hands.

But for that first we would need to accept that we have to change ourselves, instead of always pointing at others, wanting to lecture, change, correct others while justifying ourselves in any given state, at all cost.

Just as Covid-19 leveled Humanity, we also have to level — accepting that we are all born with an inherently self-serving, self-justifying, egocentric, individualistic and subjective nature, that drives us to live, survive at each other’s expense.

Only when we all change, upgrade our nature — with the help of a unique, purposeful and practical educational method — can we start rebuilding Human society on new foundations — mutually responsible and mutually complementing connections, a lifestyle based on natural necessities and available resources — that will not crumble.
