True, real freedom

Question from the Internet:

“Is "freedom" real? Are we trapped into seeking it?”

Freedom is real, but not the way we imagine it, thus we are trapped into seeking the wrong freedom we can never have.

We are brought up, educated, brainwashed to seek individual freedom, when we can define our own goals, aspirations, dreams and we can fulfill, realize ourselves accordingly, as if we were all independent, standalone beings with total freedom to choose and act.

As the globally integrated and interdependent world — that is closing on us as a result of Nature’s evolution relentlessly driving the whole system towards integration — shows us, we have no individual freedom at all.

We are all individual cells, cogwheels of a single, fully integrated, living system.

By default we are trapped into a limited, distorted egocentric, subjective consciousness, perception of reality that makes us search for that illusory individual freedom and reject integration. As a result we all behave like cancer cells, causing destruction, and at the end self-destruction.

Our only true freedom is too give up the all-encompassing control of our selfish, subjective, exploitative and destructive ego over us, and instead accept Nature’s overall governance, evolutionary plan.

The moment we consciously accept Nature’s laws of integration, evolution’s deterministic development and we fulfill our unique evolutionary Human role in the system, we become conscious, independent insider observers, partners of the system.

We can adhere to Nature in this role to such an extent that we will act and change, adapt ourselves even before evolution forced us “from behind" through negative pressure.

As a result we will realistically, tangibly feel as if we ourselves governed the whole system. And there is no greater sense of freedom than that!
