True peace is possible only through the right education, social influence

“Why not peace for peace versus peace for land?”
I fully agree with you. Peace for land is one of the stupidest and evil ideas ever conceived.
The other ideas “buying peace" with economic, geopolitical incentives like through the present “Abraham Accords" are not much better, although they might last longer — as long as there are no drastic changes in the economic, geological conditions and in the leadership of the countries involved.
These ideas are coming from our lack of knowledge, intelligence regarding what true peace means.
According to our misguided, egocentric, subjective opinion when we make peace we need to convince, subdue, defeat others or make the peace making parties similar to reach other.
True peace will unfold only when we finally accept, understand our inherently self-serving, self-justifying, distrusting and hateful nature. We will learn how to make peace when we finally understand that the selfish, individualistic, nationalistic Human ego and all the differences resulting from it can’t be suppressed, erased.
True peace can unfold only above and against the constantly present, ever growing differences, distrust, animosity, by finding common, mutual goals, purposes that are stronger than what separates individuals, nations through the right education, upbringing, social influence.
