True peace, above and against war
Question from the Internet:
“Is war actually the price for peace?”
War is the “other side” of peace, as the other side of a coin. Without experiencing war, moving against war and building on top of war, we can never reach true peace.
It is the same with everything else, our perception is built on contrast, comparative research, setting one thing against the other.
Now, it does not mean that we need actual wars to build peace after them, in the midst of them. We can experience the constant conflicts and wars our inherently selfish, egoistic, exploitative and hateful nature incites against others, against those who I feel as different, as a threat to me before it bursts out in actions.
And when we honestly recognize, “arrest” these emotions, desires to overcome, defeat, destroy others we can immediately start fighting inside of us these tendencies, instincts.
With the help of a unique method, we can learn how to monitor in us the outburst of this inner conflict and incitement and we can also learn how to handle it and harness the powerful forces.
Then we will be able to create and sustain true peace with others, a true wholeness between vastly diverse, seemingly incompatible people and nations. This is like learning how to build a safe, prosperous society on top of an active volcano, harnessing and channelling the volcanic eruptions of the individual and collective ego for fueling unity and mutually complementing co-existence and cooperation.
