True independence is liberation from our inherent egos

Question from the Internet:

“Is rugged individualism the ultimate form of independence?”

Rugged individualism is the greatest form of slavery. By focusing on our individuality while separating ourselves from others we completely lock ourselves into our inherently egocentric, subjective prisons.

By that, we condemn ourselves to experience life through a very limited and distorted, introverted, and selfish perception of reality, blindly, instinctively surviving day to day at the expense of others.

True independence, freedom can be achieved only by giving up our egocentric, subjective individuality, by dissolving into a unique, purposeful, mutually responsible, mutually complementing collective where each exists only in order to support, serve, love the others as they would love and serve themselves.

By this we liberate ourselves from the inherently egocentric, subjective viewpoints, from the illusory coordinates of time and space, opening up a truly infinite, eternal sense of existence here and now, while still existing in this world, in our biological bodies.
