True freedom — from the egotistic self!

There are people who suggest that we could make the world a better place, a real-life utopia if everyone valued their “freedom” more than their lives.

I thought this is the world, “utopia” we have been living in, where everyone valued their (perceived) freedom more than their lives!

After all, we do everything in our power to separate ourselves from others, to keep our individual, egocentric existence, even kill for this “personal freedom” although we are all suffering as a result!

At the same time, we do not even know what “true freedom” is, after all in America — which has been considered the “freest country in the world” people are completely remote-controlled through media, marketing, entertainment while they still believe they are free!

We have only one option for true freedom — becoming free from our inherently egoistic, self-serving, self-justifying, and subjective nature which builds the present day, artificial “Matrix” we are locked into, while seemingly “fighting for our freedom”!

We cannot be “free” the way we keep imagining it. We are all but individual cells in a fully integrated, interdependent Human “super-organism” that is an integral part of Nature’s fully integral system.

But if we freed our consciousness and perception from our inherently selfish, subjective egos, we could become free to start sensing, attaining reality through the integral system instead of the limited, distorted “single-cell” consciousness, the perception we are locked into by default.

Without the ego’s control, we could acquire a totally new sense of existence, unbounded by the egocentric, subjective limitations of time, space, and physical motion.

I would call that “true Freedom”!
