There is only one problem with human society

“What are the real and exciting/present problems in the society you want to be aware of?”

I am not sure if we can call it “exciting”, but the most important present problem in society — anywhere — is our total inability to build mutually responsible and mutually interconnections with each other.

Despite basically all 8 billion people hearing about, knowing about the fact that we exist in a fully integrated and totally interdependent world, we keep ignoring this both individually and collectively.

We all stubbornly and blindly pursue a life based on 100% egocentric and subjective calculations, thriving on ruthless competition while succeeding at the expense of others and at the expense of Nature. There is no better, more tangible parallel to it than saying that we all behave like cancer in this integrated and interdependent world we exist in — knowingly or unknowingly.

Our problem-solving ability — in the face of the mounting global problems that threaten our continuing existence — and our continuing collective survival depends on learning how to build a “Nature-like”, finely balanced and mutually integrated human society, above and against our inherent nature and instinctive behaviour.
