There is nobody else to blame!
An article in The Jerusalem Post:
Are we prepared to make the ultimate sacrifice in another Oct. 7 for releasing hostages? — opinion
My comment:
I apologize for repeating myself again and again.
We will continue to suffer, and our enemies will keep defeating and mocking us unless we finally realize and understand that the only way we can survive is through reviving and sustaining our original unity and mutual guarantee our Nation was established upon.
This is not mysticism or religious dogma, our nation was build honoring the most fundamental, integral laws of nature.
A living organism — like a Nation — cannot survive unless all of its elements unconditionally pledge to become a guarantor to all other elements of the same living organism.
No individual or group of people can become more important than the whole.
Either we survive together, or we do not survive.
As the Torah warns us, either you accept these laws of mutual guarantee and stay “as one man with one heart,” or this will be your burial place.
As the author rightly noted, we cannot trust external leaders to solve our problems.
If we had our unity and mutual guarantee before October the 7th, if all parts of the Nation would serve the nation selflessly and unconditionally, October the 7th would not have happened.
This is a warning and lesson to each segment of Israeli society and every Jew living in the world because we are all guilty.
The solution and our survival are only in our own hands, nobody else — they might create favorable conditions -can rebuild our mutual guarantee, only we can.
Thus, there is nobody else to blame either.
