There is no unity without correcting our inherent nature first!

An article in The Jerusalem Post:

My comment:

The article says everything right.

Still, we are not touching the root cause of why we can’t maintain our unity when we are not forced to unite.

And without the right diagnosis, we cannot treat our problem.

We can’t maintain unity in “good times” because our inherent nature is 100% self-serving, self-justifying, egocentric, and exploitative.

The “unfounded hatred” we are suffering from means that we actually enjoy succeeding at each other’s expense, and we enjoy climbing by trampling on one another.

This is why arguments and debates turn hateful and destructive.

Thus, we can’t establish fair and constructive arguments and debates; we can’t truly coexist and build mutually complementing cooperation before we recognize and correct our inherent nature.

The original Jewish method, the original unity and mutual guarantee, is based on covering “unfounded hatred” with “brotherly love” by each subjugating oneself towards the others, by each committing to be unconditionally responsible for everybody else, and each “signing a covenant” to maintain this regardless of our states and feelings.

Our unique method also teaches and helps us how to draw and harness reality’s single operating force to change and further develop us above and against our inherent nature.

Without using our original Jewish method, the rest remains empty words and hopes shattered by the actual reality and behavior of our inherent egos.
