There is no such thing as “peaceful protest”
Question from the Internet:
“There’s no such thing as a peaceful protest” — do you agree with that statement?
This is one of the oxymorons we have accepted as “normal”.
“Peaceful” and “protest” already cancel each other. If I am protesting I am not peaceful inside, since I am opposing something, I am very unhappy about something, to such an extent that I want it known, demonstrated to others.
Moreover, we know very well, that where masses of people gather it is very easy to provoke, incite them, and skillful politicians, organizations, ‘elements” are doing it all the time, turning “peaceful protests” into something “not so peaceful. Additionally, history shows that “peaceful protests” — that somehow did not evolve into riots, destruction — never achieved anything. Only when protests turned to violent revolutions did things change.
Unfortunately in today’s society, we live on illusions, lies which we accepted as normal, truth. And this is why we are making everything only worse by our “solutions”, “suggestions” especially as all our suggestions, “solutions” are egocentric, self-serving, self-justifying according to the original program, instinctive nature we are born with.
We will continue with our helpless, recurring, vicious historic cycles until we finally recognize the nature, the desires, intentions that drive all of us when we recognize how different, incompatible we are towards each other.
Only then will we become able to find and use a unique, necessary, purposeful, and practical educational method to teach us how to make peace above and against war, how to connect above, against separation, how to cover distrust, hate that constantly grows with “love” and understanding above the hate and distrust, not canceling it but complementing it.
