There is a positive way…

Opinion from the Internet about changing humanity through education:

“It is a very honorable idea to change humanity positively through education, but education will have to include the removal of bigotry, and sadly as these are often linked to religion, then by definition your education will have to include statements like “your old religion, or newly invented religion or Scientology sect is fake.”

With the best will in the world, if someone thinks a big rock in the desert is God & has magical powers, no amount of nicely explaining is ever going to educate them otherwise, without forcing them.

Incidentally, it has been said that the only time the world population would cooperate is if an asteroid was headed our way to wipe us out!

You are right on all counts, but there is a way.

First of all, although as far as we know there is no asteroid coming to wipe us out, we have plenty of other things pinching, scaring people right now and around the corner, and while many still ignore the very real threat of human extinction — by our own hands — as time goes the danger will become only more real and present.

So we have negative motivation.

The uniqueness of proper education is that it does not appeal to the negatives, it does not try to correct, suppress, go against anything. The right education points, guides forward above and despite everything that stops us, separates people. So we do not need to focus on what is ‘wrong” — which we all see from a subjective, egocentric point of view anyway — but we need to focus on what can pull people through positive motivation, and with the help of positive examples.

With such an approach we can elevate people out of the negative stuff and then they themselves will abandon the seemingly negative, destructive things as they find something better. But the most important is that only changes that are performed willingly, out of the understanding that it is for clear self-benefit are sustainable.

Finally, we do not need to wait for the whole of humanity, or even the majority of humanity to start changing, accepting this education willingly all at once. If a unique, critical minority, mass is formed, they will be able to pull the rest behind them with their positive example, while the negative pressure through crisis, the threat of wars, climate, and other problems continue to increase. Quality is much more important than quantity.
