The world’s common goal

Question from the Internet:

“What is the world’s common goal?”

We can simplify this by saying that the common goal of the world, the common, instinctive goal of any living being is survival.

We can see this in Nature, how every plant or animal does everything minute to minute, day by day in order to survive and keep their species alive and developing. This is what is programmed in each and every living creature by birth.

Humans are unique. On one hand, we also have this feature built in us, at the same time we also have an instinctive tendency for self-destruction. Through our very human internal program, we blindly develop, consume, quantitatively grow and metastasize like cancer until we destroy everything including ourselves.

Interestingly, this is also built in us, programmed in us by Nature, our inherently egoistic, self-serving and exploitative tendency is not our fault, it is not our “sin”.

Nature has a different purpose for human beings than other animals or plants. For human beings figuring out and safeguarding individual and collective survival — while we chase fulfilment and pleasures and run away from pain — is not enough. For human beings evolution poses an extra goal or purpose: to understand why we exist, to understand the system we exist in and what our exact and predetermined purpose and function in this system are.

This is why we are born “unfinished” with the innate tendency for destruction and self-destruction, so we could consciously, proactively figure out how and why we are incompatible with Nature’s mutual integration to start with.

By recognizing, accepting and then correcting this human incompatibility with Nature’s finely balanced and fully integrated system, we get to know ourselves, we get to know the system and we get to know all the cause and effect processes that determine everything in life.

As a result, in the end, when we fully corrected our inherent incompatibility through our own efforts, we will tangibly and realistically feel as if we ourselves designed and operated the whole Nature system, becoming its only fully conscious, seamlessly integrated but at the same time independent observers and partners.

To help human beings to reach this unique evolutionary role and purpose is the common goal of the world.
