The true sword and shield

There is a famous story about a King who gave an invincible sword and shield to his son when he retired and made his son promise that he would always take care of that unique sword and shield.
But the prince was foolish, reckless, and proud; he thought he disregarded the King. So he sold the unique sword and shield to a willing buyer and went on enjoying life, forgetting everything his father taught him.
When his enemies saw that the invincible sword and shield were gone, they attacked him. The prince vainly and proudly constructed his own sword and shield, but it could not prevent his enemies from harming him, toying with him, and laying his kingdom in ruin. The more he bled and suffered, the more proud and vain he became, and he wanted to show his father how great he was.
This foolish prince is Israel, the Nation of Jews, who recklessly gave up their sword and shield — the method of Torah that could help them create and sustain a unique unity above and despite the selfish and hateful ego through which they could connect to and harness the help of reality’s single governing force.
Israel believes in toys and fake friends and allies and now the Nation is in ruin, it bleeds from multiple wounds and still, Jew hate Jews and our most important occupation is how to fight and overcome each other while we hope that our artificial swords and shields will protect us.
Happiness and survival will come when we revive and use again our Jewish method and return to mutual guarantee.
