The true cost of freedom

Question from the Internet:

“How do you define the cost of freedom?”

It depends on what we want to liberate ourselves, what do we consider our “slavemaster”.

Most people are searching, fighting for some illusory individual, personal freedom as we have this idea that if we were free, we could do whatever we want.

But in truth — and this a truth we just started to grasp — we can never achieve such personal, individual freedom when we are all but individual cells in a single, integrated and interdependent “Human super-organism” which is also an integral part of Nature’s integral system.

But because our inherently selfish, subjective ego drives us towards the illusory, never-achieved personal freedom and we want to overcome, defeat, rule over others — like cancer — we make life for ourselves and others a misery, and collectively we are proudly marching towards a seemingly inevitable, global self-destruction.

The price of true freedom — freedom from the selfish ego and subsequent self-destruction — is recognizing our predetermined, evolutionary Human role in the system, the price of freedom is giving up our illusory personal independence and embracing our positive, unconditionally serving, mutually responsible, and mutually complementing role, purpose in Humanity and Nature.

By that we gain true life, we gain access to a qualitatively much higher, collective consciousness and intellect, we gain the mind, understanding of the whole system compared to the very limited, distorted consciousness and perception of a “single-cell”.

And we gain survival and continuing evolution observing, partnering Nature’s perfect system “from within”.
