The time of individual leaders is over
Question from the Internet:
“Do you think the politics of today attracts people who are drawn to power rather than to public service?”
I would give them the benefit of the doubt that when they start out they truly have an intention to help others.
The problem is that as we all know, “power corrupts”, so when one is elevated above others - even in the most simple workplace positions - one actually starts “ruling over others” instinctively, subconsciously.
And the greater the position, greater the power this works even more. And of course the higher one is the more pressures one needs to endure, the greater one’s responsibility also is which also hardens people.
Finally our inherent nature is egocentric, self-justifying, proudly individualistic - which is how we are born so we can’t call it evil, sinful. And those who believe that they are more suited to lead others, to control others are the most egotistic in society.
Thus it all adds together.
And through history - regardless of governing, political, social or economic systems - we built such self-serving systems (for example the totally self-serving political parties) that make sure that anyone who becomes part of the system starts to work for power, control, serving the establishment instead of serving the public.
We need a completely different social, governing and economic system that can neutralize our individualistic, selfish controlling tendencies.
We need to rebuild the structure of society from small, self-managing local environments in increasing circles, without any political parties but only independent public representation, reaching national and then even global level assemblies with mutual decision making through special workshop format.
This will become successful only when we reach such a new structure through a unique educational method that doesn’t consider any Human ideology, philosophy, already tried and failed templates - but is built completely on Nature’s laws of integration.
