The technology that will make our world better, safer

Question from the Internet:

“How will tech make our world safer?”

Technology will make the world safer when we learn how to use it safer, for the sake and wellbeing of the whole collective.

At the moment — both historically and also in our own generation — we use everything we ever invented, created, developed selfishly, most of the time for weapons against others and for excessively accumulated personal gain, profit.

This is how our inherently selfish, egocentric, subjective and individualistic nature drives us. And this is why we are in perpetual crisis, conflicts and wars with each other. And as technology evolves the mutual threat, the danger of mass destruction also grows. Today potentially we can paralyze whole countries simply with cyber warfare.

If we want to make the world safer we need to change, we need to learn how to overcome our instincts, our inherent reactions, “solutions” which are always helping us to succeed at the expense of others.

This is why the technology we need, first of all, is the “technology of connection”, interconnecting, cooperating like elements of Nature — above and against our inherent intentions, motivations.
