The technology of connection making the world a better place
Question from the Internet:
“How will you use technology to create a better world?”
The only “technology” we need to create a better world is the “technology of positive, mutual interconnections” between people.
While we take connections matter of factly, the connections we inherently build with each other are instinctively self-serving, subjective, egocentric, when we connect, deal with each other in order to benefit ourselves, to serve our subjective self-interest. Even when we “love” another, we do so as it gives us pleasure, fulfillment. If I do not benefit from “loving” another, I simply cannot “love”.
On the other hand — especially in the globally integrated and interdependent world — our problem-solving ability and survival depend on building “Nature-like”, truly loving, mutually responsible, and mutually complementing connections, cooperation, where each one makes calculations only for the benefit, sake of the others, for the sake of the whole system.
This is something we need to learn, develop, so we will have this technology of selfless, altruistic mutual connections with each other.
Only when we have such connections can all other forms of technology truly benefit us, as then we will use them only for positive, constructive, collective, mutual goals, purposes.
