The solution for the Covid mutations

Question from the Internet:

“How do we solve the COVID variant problems in the world?”

It is not the Covid variants that we need to solve. As we can see at the moment we are completely inadequate in solving the pandemic and all our “solutions” are basically shooting in the dark randomly, aimlessly, each person, nation acting by themselves, against each other.

First, we have to solve our total inability to work together, we have to learn how to coordinate our efforts, to rise above our self-serving, self-justifying, egocentric, and exploitative individualistic and nationalistic instincts that prevent any form of fruitful, effective global cooperation.

Covid is actually a test which we failed miserably. If we had a truly infectious, lethal plague, it would have already wiped out most of humanity based on our responses so far.

And the pandemic is not even the greatest problem threatening our collective existence as we have the already ongoing, destroying climate change, approaching water and food shortage, the collapsing, unsustainable, unnatural socioeconomic system, and the looming wars when leaders will have no other options but to incite their nations against each other (it is already happening).

We will always have problems, and as we evolved into a globally integrated and interdependent world all our problems are going to be common,l global from now on. How we fare will depend solely on our response, how capable we will become to work together as a single, united, mutually responsible, and mutually complementing humanity. Not based on any of our arbitrary, misguided ideologues, philosophies, religions, but based on the strict, unchanging laws of Nature that govern, sustain the fragile balance and homeostasis life depends on.
