The solution for “controlling" overpopulation

Question from the Internet:

“What would be the most humane yet effective way to reduce over population?”

Before we get to the overpopulation issue, first we would need to solve a much bigger problem.

We can argue about the number of people that are “suitable" for Earth, but I don’t think we can argue about our “footprint".

We are excessively overconsuming, exploiting the resources and everything we can put our hands on.
We are completely out of balance, we are totally incompatible with Nature’s strict, unchanging laws that sustain the general balance and homeostasis life depends on.

All our ideas, “solutions" are arbitrary, based on our inherently selfish, egoistic and subjective calculations.

As a result we also have no idea how many children we should have, how we should organize, govern our societies to remain integrated in, compatible with Nature’s integral system.

So the first step is learning Nature’s laws, so we could then adjust our lifestyle within the optimal parameters of available resources, natural necessities.

Then - as we become compatible with Nature through the mutual integration we build with each other on a global scale - we will naturally sense how to adjust every aspect of our lives, including the number of children we should have wanna how to look after them.

This is the only way of “controlling" ourselves naturally, without any coercion or misleading ideologies, propaganda.
