The single most important thing to improve the world: building connections!

The single most important thing to improve the world is to learn how to build sustainable, positive, mutually responsible, and mutually complementing interconnections, cooperation between people.

We think we connect, we think we help each other, we think we care about others. But in truth, behind every such move, there is always self-interest.

This is why all the “alliances”, “friendships”, “Unions”, “partnerships”, “marriages” we build are built on shaky foundations. The moment the self-interest is unfulfilled, the moment we do not get what we want from the connections, we severe the connection, and the previous “friendship” turns to animosity.

We have been experiencing this for a long time, even the most fundamental building block, the classical family” has been falling apart as our selfish nature, entitlement, distrust towards others, unwillingness to compromise has been constantly growing.

The EU and similar connections, alliances are in crisis for the same reason.

And if we needed any further proof, the pandemic showed through the woefully inadequate, self-defeating individualistic and nationalistic reactions, “solutions” that even when our wellbeing, survival depends on it, we simply can’t rise above the mutual distrust, the instinctive drive to succeed and survive at the expense of others.

So here we are “staring down at the barrel of a gun”, facing an increasingly threatening, seemingly inevitable global meltdown, that could even lead to another world war, as we simply can’t digest, accept that in a globally integrated, interdependent world — we evolved into — we have to develop an absolute, mutual responsibility towards each other on a global scale!

So the single most important thing we need to do is learning how to build the crucially necessary mutually responsible and mutually complementing interconnections, cooperation above and against our inherent differences, despite the constantly burning instinctive distrust, animosity — which cannot be suppressed, erased. Without such connections, we are helpless in solving the growing global problems, and we will not be able to safeguard our collective Human survival.

And in the global, integral world we had to evolve into according to Nature’s relentless and deterministic developmental plan, there are no individual, local, national problems, there is no individual, local, national survival, success, only a globally collective one.
