The single biggest threat to humanity
Question from the Internet:
“What do you think is the biggest threat to the future of humanity?”
The single biggest threat to the future of humanity is our absolute inability to interconnect and build positive, constructive, and sustainable coexistence and cooperation with each other on a global scale.
As the totally inadequate and self-defeating reaction to the pandemic, the endless and fruitless bickering regarding climate change and all other pressing global issues shows, even if we do not directly destroy each other through wars and other violent actions, we will not survive. We can’t even comprehend our global problems that threaten our existence, let alone find true and working solutions for them.
And we cannot connect and cooperate because we are all blindly and instinctively driven by our inherently self-serving, self-justifying, subjective, and individualistic nature. And as long as we are under the governance of our 100% introverted egos, which allows us only to see what is suitable for self-fulfillment and to succeed at the expense of others at all levels of life, nothing will change.
The problem is that most people are not even aware of being under the control of this self-serving and self-justifying ego and believe that they are capable of feeling and even serving others. Our ego is so shrewd that it can control us without showing itself, truly like a “snake”.
And without recognizing the “ego snake” inside us, we will continue blaming and correcting others while we ourselves remain the same.
Without recognizing all-consuming cancer that is at the core of everything we are doing, we cannot start the only remedy that can save humanity: to change and further develop ourselves.
This is why — at least for those who already have the sensitivity, humbleness, and willingness to recognize the destructive force within themselves and are also ready to start changing and further developing themselves — we need a unique, purposeful, and practical method. This method — which is based on the strict and unchanging laws of nature’s finely balanced and mutually integrated, life-creating and life-nurturing system — can help us in this “brutal and honest” self-recognition, so then we can methodically and purposefully change and develop ourselves.
Through this unique and “truly Human” development, we can reach a point, where we will become able to interconnect and cooperate with each other, like healthy cells of the same living organism — above and against our original nature.
And it is this unique contrast between our instinctive and acquired nature and behavior that will make us “truly Human” — beings that become similar to nature against their instincts. It is this vast contrast that will give us the ability to recognize and attain nature’s system “from one end to the other”, to see and feel all the cause and effect processes that create and develop life.
As a result, we will become nature’s only fully conscious, seamlessly integrated, and at the same time independent observers and equal partners. We will become the natural system’s unique, conscious mind and guardian, tangibly and realistically feeling as if we ourselves designed and governed the whole system.
This is the purpose of our Human life, this is the only reason we were born into this world, nothing else!
