The Rough Lesson from “Theodore Roosevelt” — “Face Above Season” or “ Faith Above Reason”?

There is no doubt that one of the most interesting controversial stories couple of weeks ago in the news — was about the outbreak of Coronavirus on US Aircraft Carrier Theodore Roosevelt. As you may probably recall, the Captain of this huge and powerful nuclear-powered vessel (I recall the Friendly visit of this US Navy Monster in Haifa, Israel), Brett Crozier, was removed (fired) from Command after sending a (virus warning) letter pleading for help to fight the Coronavirus on his aircraft carrier.
After a tough debate and well communicated public media coverage as “one of the hot potato” stories if the decision of One US Official to remove Captain Crozier was Right or Wrong ?, a thorough investigation took place and Captain Crozier was largely cleared. US Navy Leaders recommended reinstating Roosevelt Captain fired over Virus warning and take over a new position.
As a former soldier in IDF, I know by personal experience, that under NOC/Normal Operating Conditions (business as usual),
a decision of a Commander is binding and should be followed with no questions or doubts. However, during Alert/Extreme (war)
Conditions — the pressure on a Commander with no experience to make the right decision in real-time — may end up as a life-threatening disaster if the wrong decision made and without taking into consideration the impact of the decision on others.
Observing the decision making the process of the US Official who made the decision to remove one of the Best US Navy Commanders during a Global Virus outbreak would be definitely questionable — may be consistent with the US Navy Protocols but “Applying Probably Extremely Poor Judgment — and maybe even in Good Faith”?
“Good Faith” is successful if it applied with the right/good intention, however, may blow up in your face if there is no reason for it
(same as the wrong decision that was made by One US Official to fire Captain Dozier w/o asking his Superiors/Colleagues ?).
Are there any conditions or situations where an Individual or a Group of People have to apply (Good) “Faith Above Reason “?
The Solid Fact is — that the Top Leaders of USA, from President Trump to Top US Navy Leaders had exactly opposite opinion to the US Official’s decision (that proved to be wrong from A to Z to remove Captain Dozier from his Job during Coronavirus ??!!!)
and considering the fact that the Commander tried to ask for help in order to save his Solder’s life and was punished for being a “Good Samaritan ?” Well, painfully and regretfully, it happened at the most Critical Corona Outbreak on the Huge US Vessel!
So What are the lessons that we learned from this unpleasant US Navy “military exercise” for our bright future after Corona?
1. Individuals have the right to their opinion and make their own decisions, however, listening to others > may save your life/job.
2. The “Wisdom of the Many” — is mostly more accurate/right than my own opinion (like the gap between average and median ?).
3. Am I ready to accept the opinion of the many vs. stand by my opinion? Replace “Me” by “We” > and We are on the next step.
4. The Global Humanity is Connected as One in One Vessel/Kli (same like the Sailors in the US Navy Roosevelt Aircraft Carrier)
5. Nature is “The Chief in Command to Humanity”. if we will study Integral Education, We will attain Nature’s Wisdom as One !!!
