The root cause and the solution for the pandemic

Question from the Internet:

“If going without a mask puts humans at risk & getting the vaccine is putting humans at risk also, then exactly what do we as humans really need to be cautious & alerted about?”

It is true that we still do not know exactly how the vaccines will work (especially with the different variants of the virus) and how long they remain effective. But for the time being, at least the Pfizer vaccine seems to work for the original virus, providing scientifically proven results from countries that used the Pfizer vaccine exclusively on the majority of their population, like Israel.

I myself received the first dose 2 weeks ago in New Zealand as this country also decided to use the Pfizer vaccine.

I understand the doubts, uncertainty due to the vast amount of misinformation swirling around and as people have totally lost trust in their governments.

Wearing masks is an interesting thing. Most people think they wear masks in order to protect themselves and do not even consider the possibility that they should wear masks in order to protect others, in case they knowingly or unknowingly contracted the virus — with or without symptoms.

And the constant misinformation, the loss of trust in corrupt, self-serving, self-justifying leaders, and the self-centered, ignorant behavior of most people point to the actual root cause and also at the solution.

We can argue why the pandemic erupted, or why other mounting and seemingly unsolvable global p[problems rise. But we cannot argue that because of our inherently selfish, egoistic, subjective instincts, individualistic and nationalistic behavior we have made the pandemic much worse, much more difficult to control than it should have been.

Also for the same reason, we have no solution or even comprehension about the climate changes that might threaten our very existence not to mention other rising or potentially waiting global problems.

The only true solution would be finally understanding what it means that we evolved into a globally integrated, totally interdependent world, where only positive, sustainable, mutually responsible and mutually complementing connections and cooperation can offer the problem-solving ability and secure, collective survival.

Since we have to achieve such connections above and against our blind, instinctive, self-serving, self-justifying egos, we need a unique, purposeful, and practical educational method.
