The relationship between Covid-19 and globalization
Question from the Internet:
“What role did globalization play in the emergence of CoVid?”
I would say that Covid-19 emerged and is giving us so much trouble because we do not know what globalization is, and how to exist according to its conditions.
Most people would consider globalization something man-made, related to markets, financial systems, entertainment, travel, industry.
But all those are simply our reactions to the fact, that we have evolved into a globally integrated and interdependent world as a result of Nature’s evolutionary direction.
Natural development is driving the whole Natural system towards an ever-increasing, most optimal integration between its extremely diverse, seemingly incompatible parts, elements.
And Human beings — as we are also integral parts of the system — are also obliged to progress towards such integration between themselves and with Nature.
Thus in terms of our external conditions, we have already evolved into an integral, global system, but in our minds, behavior we still act, as if we were individual, “standalone” creatures who could do anything they like, according to their egocentric, subjective intellect and desires.
We could see how woefully inadequate, self-defeating our reactions, “solutions” have been during the pandemic, on the individual, national and global levels.
If we do not want, can’t learn — through a unique, purposeful and highly practical educational method — learn how to rise above our instincts, originally individualistic, mutually distrusting, hateful inclinations in order to integrate with each other and through that integrate with Nature, our collective Human survival is in great danger!
We can choose if it will be increasing crisis, intolerable suffering will teach us how to adapt to Nature’s evolution, its laws of integration, or we do that purposefully, proactively, consciously changing, adjusting ourselves by building the necessary, mutually responsible and mutually complementing interconnections, cooperation above and against everything that rejects us from each other.
This is what we can learn from the Covid-19 pandemic as the virus has very sharply highlighted our incompatibility with our Natural, evolutionary conditions.
