The path of suffering vs the path of wisdom

An opinion from the Internet about Humanity’s development towards correction:

“It’s going to take a long time to get over our wasteful ways.”

Yes, it will take a very long time and a lot of suffering to change our ways if we follow the past, present instinctive development, only changing, moving forward when blows, intolerable pain forces us.

But we can hasten the process and turn the “path of suffering" into the “path of wisdom", if we proactively, consciously learn in what way, through what changes we can adapt ourselves to Nature’s fully integrated, lawful system, by choosing to become similar to Nature in our mutual connections, by keeping the optimal balance between natural necessities and available resources before crisis, disasters push us.

By methodically learning and applying Nature’s wisdom on human society we can spare the unnecessary suffering.
