“What is the outcome of capitalism?”
The outcome of capitalism is that it consumes itself like cancer — as we can now observe it “live" in our generation.
Free market capitalism seems to be the best, most just, fair system to start with — based on the principle of “what’s mine is mine, what’s yours is yours" — promising free access, fair competition, unbounded social movement and guaranteed reward for appropriate personal efforts.
But this doesn’t take into consideration our inherently self-serving, self-justifying, exploitative Human nature, that thrives on success at the expense of others, accumulating wealth, resources way beyond necessities.
Thus the original principle of “what’s mine is mine, what’s yours is yours" gradually becomes “what’s mine is mine, what’s yours is also mine", a small minority (the most egoistic, selfish, most shrewd in society) owning, controlling, manipulating the masses (the less egoistic, selfish, less shrewd in society).
And as the inequality constantly grows and excessive consumption increases (serving, fulfilling our exploitative egotistic desire is the greatest addiction known to mankind) since we cannot stop, this “Human cancer" consumes itself it loses its right to exist in Nature’s balanced, fully integrated and interdependent system.
We are standing at this outcome now!
And if we don’t learn — as soon as possible through the right, purposeful education, empirical Natural science — the root cause of this “Human cancer", and we don’t start applying the remedy in order to rebuild Human society on more Natural foundations above, against who we are, then we will surely self-destruct within a very short time, and will have to change ourselves as a result of intolerable suffering.
