The only true freedom is liberation from the ego’s control

Question from the Internet:

“What is the last step to freedom?”

The last step towards true freedom is cutting the last threads, anchors that connect us to our inherently self-serving, self-justifying, subjective egos.

This is the only true freedom, and the liberation from the control of the ego and the egocentric, subjective consciousness, perception of reality is the greatest possible freedom in reality.

When we methodically, purposefully, consciously learn how to exist selflessly through the desires, thoughts of others, unconditionally fulfilling their desires according to their viewpoints — without any selfish calculations, distortions — we also liberate ourselves from the original, subjective limitations of time, space and physical motion.

As a result we acquire a realistic, tangible sense of timeless, infinite existence!
