The key point of Jewish education is learning about our role in the world!

An article in The Jerusalem Post:

October 7 changed us, now we must decide who we become — opinion

My comment:

I fully agree with the article.

I also agree that it is “Jewish education” that is the key to our success.

This “Jewish education,’ first of all, needs to focus on our unparalleled, crucially important, and obligatory role in the world.

Only by knowing, accepting and concentrating all our efforts on this very high and special Jewish purpose can we unite above our vast diversity and differences of opinion, only by rallying around this single Jewish purpose can we find ways of solving our problems and defeating our enemies for good.

Only by showing the world very clearly that we know about our Jewish purpose and that we are fully committed to achieving it — facilitating humanity’s continuing survival above and against the destructive and all-consuming human ego as a result of the positive example we are showing — can we stop and prevent any future antisemitism and Israel hatred.

Only the tried and tested Jewish unity and mutual guarantee — achieved above and against the instinctive and egoistic “baseless hatred” that drives each human being against others — can offer a solution to us and anybody else.

However, only Jews have the actual practical method and historical experience in achieving it.

All we have to do is revive and implement the very method our Nation is built upon. The rest will unfold by itself!
