The Human ego — the only difference between Human beings and other developed primates

Opinion from the Internet about similarities between other animals and Humans:

“Animal herds and other groupings have their conflicts, competitions, leaders, followers, trouble-makers, etc. Humans may have a different technological scale, but is not Human society ultimately a function of the original nature of Humans as they evolved, or are you saying that Humans sprung from some other source?”

Well, we are reportedly from the same source as other developed primates like chimpanzees, orangutans, though the source hasn’t been identified yet.

Still the difference between how other primates developed for the last 3–4 million years and Humans developed couldn’t be more strikingly different.

The most important difference is not our technical advancement, or that we are chasing more sophisticated - albeit still instinctive - desires.

The major difference is that Humanity senses itself “outside of”, above Nature, acting, behaving against Nature’s strict laws that govern the balance and homeostasis life depends on.

Animals have their conflicts, hierarchical disputes, they even kill each other as we know about chimpanzees for example. But despite all of that they never go beyond the optimal parameters of natural necessities/available resources, and in normal circumstances - without some natural catastrophe, Human interference forcing them - they never leave their habitat or threaten Nature’s “circle of life”.

Humans on the other hand recklessly behave like cancer, wanting to take over, consume everything although it is not necessary, not justified even for a very comfortable, modern, lavish lifestyle for 8 billion or more people.

So how can we explain this striking difference, what separates Humans from other primates and other animals when we come from the same source, from the same Natural conditions, when Nature’s laws apply to us just as much and we even know those laws consciously through our sciences?!

Why are we different and what is the evolutionary purpose of this difference - after all we are affected by Nature’s deterministic evolution as well other parts of the system and Nature doesn’t make mistakes, there is nothing accidental, obsolete in it, and it was evolution that made us different from other animals?!

Here unique empirical Natural scientists - who have been studying Nature and Human behaviour for millennia - tell us that the difference is the Human ego.

We are born with this self-serving, individualistic, cancer-like ego that separates us from the rest of Nature, in order to give us the opportunity to become independent from the rest of the system, and from that initial incompatibility, opposition to learn how to integrate into Nature consciously, by our own efforts.

This conscious return will make us truly Human - similar to Nature above our egotistic instincts - meriting to become Nature’s only conscious and objective insider observers. This wouldn’t be possible without the duality, contrast we acquire by achieving the Natural integration above and against our inherently egotistic, cancer-like program.
