The Human condition
Question from the Internet:
“What is the human condition? How has it changed?”
The “human condition” is that evolution has created us with an unfinished, “raw or beta” software, which is 100% egocentric, selfish, and exploitative, driving us towards excessive overconsumption and ruthless competition with each other and Nature.
But besides this cancer-like original software evolution also gave us a unique human intellect that is capable of critical self-assessment, that is capable of asking questions about the meaning, purpose of life.
What has changed is that as our ego grew through history we became increasingly destructive and self-destructive, but parallel to that we have also become more and more aware of the harmful ego ruling over us.
This recognition — finding ourselves on the brink of global self-destruction and also recognizing, accepting our ego as the root cause — has reached its fruition, peak in our generation. Thus now we are ready for an unprecedented, fateful turning point in human evolution when we can take our own development into our own hands, by correcting, upgrading, complementing the “raw, beta” software in us, “downloading” and applying a Natural upgrade.
Through that we become able to build the necessary, Nature-like, mutual integration within humanity above and against our inherent nature, by that reaching similarity with Nature, integrating into the system.
With that we acquire our unique, evolutionary Human purpose, becoming the system’s only conscious, integrated but independent observers, partners, witnesses. This is our evolutionary Human purpose in life.
