The “global casino” on the brink…

Can we change the present economy, especially the financial system that seems to have full control over our lives?

I have never worked in finance, I have never seen a stock exchange in real life. But I imagine it as a form of gambling which completely intoxicates those who are doing it especially when they are successful.

This means that nothing can change the present financial system which is based on such intoxicating, reckless gambling — mostly with the money of others — but a complete collapse of the system.

If the predictions are right about the evolving socio-economic crisis now brewing as a result of the pandemic — more precisely it has been brewing for decades, but the gamblers were constantly given new chips to keep them playing — then exactly this is what is going to happen now.

Now it seems that the pandemic and the restrictions have finally broken the bank silently, swiftly, which otherwise would have taken a few more years and much uglier scenes, even violent actions from people or wars.

Thus the question will be, what can we do with these “gamblers” — and a little bit we are all like that, constantly consuming with money we do not have — when we slowly start to rebuild our Human system. Will we rebuild it on the foundation of the same “casino”, playing, spending, using, exploiting everything regardless of the consequences until we are breaking the bank again and again, or we have a more conscious, more natural plan?!
