The future will be better, if we consciously make it better!

Question from the Internet:

“Will the year 2021 be better?”

This depends only on us!

It depends on how much we understand the lessons of the pandemic and the presently brewing global, socio-economic crisis:

1. We evolved into a globally integrated, fully interdependent world. As the virus has shown we all depend on each other even for our day to day survival.

2. Additionally - as the virus also showed and still shows - we are fully, mutually responsible for each other.
3. At the same time we are not ready for this mutual interdependence, mutual responsibility. Our inherently individualistic, egocentric and subjective nature simply doesn’t allow us to take others into consideration as we make solely self-serving, self-justifying calculations in each and every moment.

So we need to learn who we are, where we are, why we behave the way we do - after clearly seeing the completely self-destructive individualistic, nationalistic reactions, “solutions” to the pandemic, crisis, trying to survive at the expense of others.

We need to learn, moreover actually, tangibly feel, that “we are all sitting on the same, fast sinking boat”, and unless we change how we relate to each other and start making calculations for the benefit of the whole, serving each other as we would serve ourselves, we won’t survive.

So understanding this, starting the necessary, gradual, conscious and methodical “self-upgrade” process, right here, right now, will determine how 2021 and the future beyond will unfold!
