The future is in our hands

Question from the Internet:

“What’s the future?”

The future is our next state, and it is in our hands.

It is true, that we exist in a fully integrated, lawful, and deterministic Natural system, which relentlessly progresses towards a predetermined, most optimal state.

It is true that we each, individually and collectively have our own role, purpose in this system, including that final, most optimal state.

But how we reach that most optimal final state, our unique purpose in Nature’s system is up to us.

We can allow the system to keep pushing us forward, blindly stumbling from crisis situation to crisis situation — or one vicious historic cycle to another. We can allow increasing pain, intolerable suffering to “guide us” towards we have to go, develop.

Or, we can purposefully, consciously study, and understand that Natural system and its plan and adjust, adapt ourselves to the flow and that predetermined final state proactively, methodically.

If we choose to study the system and change, fine-tune, align ourselves with the plan before Nature pushes us through suffering, it will give us a very realistic, tangible feeling as if we controlled our own development, agreeing with Nature’s plan a step ahead of the push. From our point of view, we will truly feel as if we ourselves designed the plan and pulled, pushed all the controls.

There is no greater sense of freedom than that!

So everything depends on us.
