The future is in our hands

Question from the Internet:

“Will 2021 feel more hopeful in than 2020 has been?”

This solely depends on us, how we learn the lessons of the pandemic, how willing we are to change ourselves, the way we connect to each other.

The pandemic - and all the surrounding upheavals, other threatening global problems - shows us without any doubt, that we evolved into a fully integrated, interdependent system.

At the same time we can also see that our inherently egocentric, self-serving, individualistic nature that thrives on success at the expense of others prevents any meaningful, positive, sustainable connections, cooperation between people and nations.

Even a potentially life-saving vaccine against the virus become a profit making vehicle and topic of ruthless, exclusive competition.

We will need to understand, feel “on our flesh” - either with the help of a unique, practical educational method, or through increasing suffering, crisis, social breakdown, wars - that either we cooperate, unite above everything that separates, rejects us, or we all self-destruct.

The ball is in our hands.
