The evolutionary reason why Humans are inclined towards wars

“Why do wars rather than peaceful coexistence dominate human history?”

Because our inherently egocentric, self-serving, and self-justifying nature is geared for ruthless, exclusive competition, fight for resources, and survival. Human beings are born “outside” of Nature’s fully integrated and interdependent system, we do not feel the all-encompassing, Natural “circle of life” that gives instinctive balance, security, confidence to animals.

While animals also fight, have “wars”, kill each other, they do only to secure their territory and food supply, but they never go beyond the optimal parameters of natural necessities and available resources.

In contrast, Humans accumulate resources way beyond their necessities, they kill, destroy, take away what others have for selfish pleasure, we gain greater satisfaction from succeeding at the expense of others than from actually gaining possessions.

Humans are created with this “evil”, warmongering nature purposefully by evolution, so it is not our fault, it is not a sin. This gives us a chance and free choice — other animals do not have — to complete our own, Human development by our own efforts.

We can find our way to integrate into Nature — before we self-destruct — by integrating, interconnecting with each other, above, and against our inherent nature. This way even after reaching integration we will retain a unique, independent, and conscious Human viewpoint through which we can become Nature’s only “insider” observers, witnesses, partners.
