The Coronavirus pandemic could become the defining moment of Human development

I do not think so. In terms of the infection itself, we still do not have enough information to be certain how long the pandemic will last ad how many people if will seriously affect. The worst-case scenario predictions look very bad in any context, and in countries like Italy, Spain, France and certain parts of the US it is already bad enough to justify the alarm.

And then we haven’t even looked at the forthcoming, already brewing economic, financial, political and social consequences. The virus — hopefully — might not make a huge dent on Human population, but it will surely knock out the old system which was already on life support before the pandemic started.

On the other hand, this is not a bad thing. Covid-19 will clean away all the unnatural, harmful, self-destructive excesses normally are wiped clean by terrible revolutions, world wars. We were heading towards our own civilization-ending explosion at the end of our own vicious historic cycle, as the irrepressible Human ego distorted, corrupted even the theoretically best looking social-economic system of parliamentary democracy and free-market capitalism.

As it turns out the Coronavirus is bringing on the greatest event in our life, in Human history, our first-ever truly free choice: are we going to blindly follow our inherently self-serving, self-justifying, egocentric, exploitative nature towards self-destruction, or we are wise enough to “swallow the bitter medicine” changing ourselves instead of changing the world and other around us?!

If we chose the second option, then through a unique, purposeful and practical scientific, educational method we can learn how to act independently of our egos, build the necessary mutually responsible and mutually complementing connections, cooperation (which has been badly missing through this crisis as well and in every other instance where global cooperation, leadership would be necessary).

Through such an unprecedented global integration — above our remaining differences, the uniqueness that isn’t erased — despite the instinctive mutual distrust, animosity — which also won’t disappear — we will become similar, compatible with Nature’s perfect, integral system. As a result, we will find solutions, prevention, progress with ease, seeing what’s coming in advance, since we will be developing, progressing together with Nature not against it.

Thus depending on our choice the Covid-19 epidemic can become the greatest — and positive — turning point in Human history! We can now enter a completely new, this time conscious development, taking our fate into our own hands by partnering Nature’s evolution.

All the forces, events which affected us adversely so far could all become benevolent, supporting forces, like when the sails of a boat are turned wisely in the right direction thus the previously threatening, stormy winds become positive, propelling forces!
