The complexity of Human development
Question from the Internet:
“Why did it take so many millennia to reach human rights?”
Compared to the billions of years of development of the Universe a few millennia are not that long.
On the other hand, Human beings are much more complex and are destined for a much higher role in reality than other animals, so our development takes much longer.
Even in this world, while a newborn animal within days can almost independently function, for a Human child it takes many years to start getting to know one’s environment and become safe in it.
We think we have reached a stage of “Human rights”, “end of slavery” and other social achievements but in truth, they are still only illusions. At this stage, we do not even know what it means to be “truly Human” yet, we are still blind, instinctive beings existing by, building societies with our inherently selfish, egocentric, and exploitative nature.
As a result, all our notions about freedom, right are only illusions we try to soothe ourselves by.
In order to reach true freedom, to figure out what our true rights are, first we would need to escape the control of our own instinctive egos (through a special, purposeful and practical educational method), then as “free Human beings” (free from our selves) we will be able to build a mutually responsible and mutually complementing Human society, where each has equal rights and each can fulfill their perfect, evolutionary Human purpose, role in Humanity and in Natural reality.
