The childhood is over

We only start to realize the historic significance of the Covid-19 pandemic in relation to Human evolution. We are standing at a turning point that never before happened — we are becoming consenting adults.

Human history so far has been a completely blind, instinctive affair, automatically following our inherently self-centered, self-serving, subjective, “childish” nature, spending our whole life on chasing egotistic pleasures, fulfillment at each other’s expense while constantly fighting, competing in the “sandpit”, trying to steal each other’s “school lunches”, destroying each other’s sandcastles.

A small minority — the bullies — took over management of the schoolyard, and the others submit themselves to them or worship some “greater beings” like teachers, school principles — that are the Kings, Queens, great leaders, celebrities in our world who will always tell us what to do, thus we do not have to think for ourselves. Most of us are happy to follow “circus and bread”, or sometimes go to beat up the other bullies if our own bullies instruct us — while they hide behind the fence.

The pandemic and the reactions of world ”leaders, experts, and all “mighty beings” to it, the completely desperate helplessness these “leaders and experts” prepare to the oncoming crisis which we haven’t experienced in our life suddenly shows, that these people we have been following, worshipping, obeying have absolutely no idea what to do. They are just as scared and unprepared as we are, they are like the emperor that has no clothes on and now everybody can see and point it out.

It is not their fault, they were not educated, prepared for a globally integrated and interdependent world. Their “program” has become obsolete, destructive in this global system, they will naturally stand down, disappear through the unprecedented, evolutionary changes that will unfold in the coming months.

For the new phase of Human evolution — which has to become conscious, above and against our inherent instincts — puts absolute responsibility on all of our shoulders. Nobody can shy away from thinking for themselves, nobody can shy away from making decisions and become active, mutually responsible, and mutually contributing part of development, rebuilding.

The new Human society which will have to follow Nature’s integral template in order to survive is built on equal, mutually committed, small environments — similar to the original Israeli Kibbutzim — that will become the building blocks of the new, global, Human society.

The “top-down” phase of Human development and governance is over, we are now starting a never before experienced phase, building, developing from below up. The pyramid has turned upside down. With the right, purposeful and practical education, with a completely new awakening, mutual responsibility, and mutual commitment we can rebuild the world and progress towards an unprecedented, qualitatively much higher, equal, integrated, collective, truly Human existence.
