Question from the Internet:

“How do you predict the world will change in 2021?”

If we learn the very important lessons of 2020 and act accordingly, we can turn Human development to a positive, conscious direction, while if we stubbornly try to return to “life before”, we will continue to sink into ever deeper crisis, possible wars, self-destruction.

The pandemic showed us that we evolved into a globally integrated, interdependent world. It also showed us and is still showing us, that as long as we try “solving” global problems, react to them with our inherently egocentric, subjective, individualistic, nationalistic mindset, we suffer and make the problems even worse each time we do something.

The American election showed that most societies are broken, split at least into 2 parts to such an extent that even a civil war became a possibility. Distrust, frustration, hopelessness, rising unemployment and intolerable inequality takes people to the streets, creating very tense, seemingly unsolvable situations that can explode any moment anywhere in the world.

So if we understand that all of these problems originate from the same, inherently egocentric, selfish, exploitative nature that drives all of us, and we are ready, willing to change ourselves - instead of changing others and the world around us - then we have a chance to use the crisis as a springboard for positive, conscious, purposeful future development.
