Sustainable Human development requires adaptation to Nature’s laws of integration

Question from the Internet:

“What would it take for human development to be truly sustainable?”

For the answer first of all we would need to understand that we are not above, outside of Nature's system, but we are integral part of it as one of its species.

This means that Nature's unchanging, strict laws that sustain the balance and homeostasis life and optimal development depends on are obligatory also for us.

Which means that a sustainable Human society, Human development has to stay within the optimal parameters of natural necessities and available resources, while society itself needs to be built upon “Nature-like” positive, mutually responsible and mutually complementing interconnections, cooperation.

From this we can see that present Human society, Human development is exactly the opposite. With our reckless, excessive overconsumption, with the exploitative, ruthless competition, survival at each other's and Nature's expense we act like cancer in an otherwise harmonious, healthy body.

To survive, to continue evolving as Human species, we will have to adapt, align ourselves to Nature's laws of integration and to evolution's overall direction towards increasing integration.

The fact that we have to do this consciously, methodically, above, against our inherently egocentric, individualistic, exploitative nature provides us with the unparalleled, unique evolutionary Human advantage.

We will become integrated, partnering elements in Nature with our own efforts, by our own free choice, meriting to be called the “crowns of evolution”.
