Superman is not ready yet to save the world

Question from the Internet:

“Is Superman not saving the world because he respects the choice of humanity, and saving us would be an amoral act?”

I don’t think there are any moral considerations in this. Superman is not saving the world because he is not ready yet.

The only “Superman” that can save us is a unique, united, collective Humanity that developed an unprecedented collective mind, collective intelligence, a Humanity that acts as “one man with one heart".

In a globally integrated, interdependent world we can’t solve the mounting global problems, we can’t safeguard our collective survival in any other way.

If we needed any further proof, the pandemic showed us how desperately helpless we are when we act as individuals, nations that want to solve problems on their own, who want to succeed at each other’s expense.

As great empirical scientists have expressed before, “it is either the collective, of it is death". Either we learn how to unite and build positive, global, mutually responsible, mutually complementing interconnections, cooperation, or we will not survive beyond this or the next generation.

And this is not some philosophy or Human ideology, not even religion. This is according to Nature’s strict, unforgiving laws of integration that keep the balance life depends on.
