Stimulus packages: Are we brave enough to shout, “The emperor has no clothes (and is dead)?!

Many people are shaking their heads at hearing the billions of dollars committed to the various bailout, stimulus packages all over the world to try to prevent a great crisis after the restrictions following the Covid-19 pandemic.

There could be many reasons, and I am not an economist it politician so I will try to give two reasons I understand.

Those bailouts, stimulus packages are causing inflation since this is money, that is virtual. In other words, we are paying for debt with further debt and this is not the first time, we are already sunken into multiple layers of debt all over the world individually, nationally and globally.

Moreover, we try to resuscitate the wrong socio-economic system that has no right to exist in Nature’s fully integrated, interdependent system which works on natural necessities and available resources. This system is built on iron, natural laws which are binding for us too since we are also part of the same system.

We are hoping, that we will be able to repay our increasing debts on top of debts by stubbornly forcing a system that is artificially curbing up production, consumption of products, services people don’t actually need, can’t afford, throw away shortly after purchasing them, while at the same time they are losing their jobs, and their money loses its worth due to inflation…

We are trying to build a skyscraper without any foundations, starting from the 50th floor up…or we try to become like Baron Munchausen lifting himself up by pulling his own hair… Can this work?!

And this was already so before the pandemic!

The virus only gave us a pause, a thinking time, so finally, someone could shout that “the emperor has no clothes!”, so we could finally start rebuilding our socio-economic system on new, true, solid, natural foundations instead of running back to our dying system pouring some more (lifeless) blood transfusion into a corpse.

So are we brave and wise enough to point to the naked (and dead) emperor?!
