Social media is not evil, how we use it is the problem

Question from the Internet:

“Do you think life was better with or without social media?”

It is true that at present we see mostly the negative side of social media. And if we watch the documentary, “Social Dilemma" it even becomes frightening to see how much we are manipulated, remote controlled through social media — and through all other media channels, and entertainment.

On the other hand — like with everything else — it is not the technology, tool that is at fault, but the Human being using it.

It is our inherently egocentric, self-serving, self-justifying and exploitative Human nature that turns every invention, finding into excessive, selfish profit, weapon, tool of control, manipulation.
Thus it is pointless to blame the technology, tools, we went reach anything by switching them off, restricting the use of them.

Instead we need to change, educate, upgrade the “user” - ourselves — so we learn how to use everything we have with very different intentions, goals, purpose.

If we rebuilt Human relations, society in “Nature-like", mutually responsible, mutually complementing relationships, cooperation, all our technologies, abilities would serve us in a positive, constructive way.
