Should we think about the world’s problems?

Question from the Internet:

“Should we think about the world’s problems?”

I think we should. First of all, we are existing in this world.

Moreover, we are active components of this world. Which means, that whether we are aware of it or not, whether we agree or not, we actively contribute to the problems of this world and we also have to be part of the solution.

Most of the time we claim that we have nothing to with the problems of the world. We just live simply, doing what we have to do to survive and have what we need.

As we are realizing today, we actually exist in a globally integrated and fully interdependent world. So we do not live in isolation, we cannot separate ourselves from any problems wherever it appears and whatever it looks.

Moreover, we are all born with an inherently 100% self-serving, self-justifying, egocentric and individualistic nature. Which means that knowingly or unknowingly, we all survive and succeed at each other’s expense and at Nature’s expense.

There are no excuses for any of us. If we were not aware of this before, if we tried to deny it before, we cannot do that anymore. We all have to learn how to become “healthy cells” in mankind’s single, all-encompassing organism that is also an integral part of Nature’s mutually integrated and finely balanced system.

In short, we need to think about the problems of the worlde, we need to find the root cause of it - our own inherent nature - and we also have to actievly seek and implement a true solution - changing and further developing ourselves.
