Renewable energy might be the answer, but…
Our present energy use is harmful but it’s renewable energy flawless?
It is clear that with our present every consumption, energy sources we are causing damage to Nature and to ourselves as well. So there is increasing call for transitioning to renewable energy sources.
It is possible that renewable resources will be the answer to our energy needs, but it is not guaranteed.
First of all renewable energy is not harmless, it is also destructive towards Nature. Water dams disrupt the lifeline, route of migratory fish like eels for example, wind turbines cause damage to birds, cause low frequency sounds waves that can be harmful, we know that batteries for electric cars, gaining energy for them is not without problems, etc.
Do we need this much energy?!
Then of course there is the question about the insatiable energy needs as well. Do we actually need that much energy?!
Do we need this reckless, excessive, overproduction, overconsumption system churning our unnecessary, many times harmful products we can’t afford and throw away causing destructive pollution?!
Thus we are actually opening up a Pandora’s box with questions much deeper than what energy sources to use.
The answers are found in integration into Nature
The solution is in rethinking, reorganizing our lives, our socio-economic system according to Nature’s integral template, scaling down to modern, healthy, natural necessities within available resources with the help of mutually responsible, mutually complementing integration that will make us compatible with Nature’s system.
Then we will know how much energy we truly need anything what resources provide that energy in the most efficient and least harmful way.
